I just wanted to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday. A special thank you to one Sirius Black for making the celebration possible. I feel guilty, given what happened at the gala the night before. It's horrible, what happened to all those people. My heart goes out to the families effected, especially given that it hit close to home.
Ted, I'm glad you're on the road to recovery. If you need any help with anything work related until you're back on your feet, let me know. I'm currently on the hunt for a new job.

I had an arrangement at work, scheduling my time off each month in preperation and the duration of the full moon. Of course, they didn't know that's why I needed the days. I told them I went to visit my ailing mother. It was sort of a strained agreement, but my employers went along with it. It seems when I owled in on such short notice Tuesday morning that I wouldn't be in, it didn't bode well.
It's nothing, though. I wasn't expecting to stay there forever. I'm surprised I lasted as many months as I did. Not like it was a career. I'm not too broken up about it. There's always work out there, always some job needing to be done. I'll bounce back. I always do. I'll probably wait until after the Moon to really search. Wouldn't do well for me to get hired and ask for a few days off right away.
